ArtWorks Ceramics is my blog to help showcase the increasing tide of ceramic work that I am creating. 
 I am a member of the Anglian Potters ceramic group

Below is a new design of mine packed with whimsically comic features, from the top there is a control lever with functional looking buttons a tea spout inspired from a rubber gaiter, mechanical handle attached to the body with an amusing gloved hand and the cylindrical body is covered in riveted panels and cogs.................a treat for anyone who loves the age of steam or would not look out of place for fans of the genre fashion of Steampunk.

The teapot above is made of stoneware clay first fire to about 980 degrees C then it is twice dipped in a glaze combo of Shiny Green and then an Emmanual Cooper glaze of Blue Purple Green (crystaline) then re-fired to about 1260 degrees C £85 + P&P 1 available.

My next couple of peices are void of the comical touches with a Teapot looking like it has grown from the pages of Jule Vernes 20'000 Leagues Under The Sea....being that it looks to be made of recycled Nautilus parts. Stoneware fired glaze (1260 degrees C) finish in Rich Brown with grey marble like streak running through the side of the pot.

Copper Mechanical Vase finish a beautiful rich Verdigris glaze final fired to 1120 Degrees C. £40 + P&P 1 available.
